Today I just got an email from Patrick Kelvin’s team (Mediawhiz) with the private invitation to their first CPC program called ShoppingAds. Currently this program still in the Beta phase. If not mistaken this is their 3rd program of advertising after TextlinkAds and AuctionAds. As you know this another make money online program that you can use to monetize your blog or site.
ShoppingAds is a cost per click ads product powered by major shopping comparison sites. ShoppingAds allowed you to display product ads from the top merchants in the form of image or text ads to your web site visitor and when someone clicks on your ad, then you’ll get paid. I think this program almost similar to widgetbucks.
Similar to widgetbucks, you can customized your ads to suite with your site color and background. As for today, ShoppingAds have 11 types of ads format which you can choose to use such as ladder board, banner, large rectangle, vertical banner and etc.
How can I get the pay? Currently they set up the payout through the paypal only but as what they mentioned in the mail, they promise to change it in the next month. Maybe to have more option to get the payment.
Forget to say that ShoppingAds also has the option for us to add and choose our own keywords or use their automatic popular keywords. Also one to thing to note that ShoppingAds is no way a contextual engine like Adsense. So I think choosing the right keywords is key to getting the most out of ShoppingAds.
ShoppingAds also has the real time statistic on the impression and clicks, and might be delay a few minutes or hour. We can easily log in to our account to check the performance.
Since this is the CPC program, so I think I’ll give it a try in this blog. I hope that their final release of ShoppingAds program will have more features that will increase the publisher CTR.
